Abstract
Thesis on the evaluation of quality management in selected town authority. The theoretical part is dedicated to public administration in general, defines the concept of quality in public administration and focuses on the methods that are in the areas most used. It is primarily about ISO standards, EFQM Excellence Model, Balanced Scorecard, benchmarking and CAF model. In the work are briefly explained their objectives, structure, concepts and applications in the Czech Republic. Second, the practical part, is focused on the management, operation and the established methods of quality improvement in a specific organization, MÚ Hranice. It is also an analysis of selected indicators Benchmarking Initiative 2005 on social and transport, development of a comprehensive SWOT analysis and evaluation of established methods.
