Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is design of belt conveyor for transportation of black coal. In the first part, there is research focused on belt conveyors and their structural elements, next there is analysis of black coal and results of laboratory measurements of some of its properties important for designing of belt conveyor. Based on the knowledge of transported material, the belt conveyor is designed with grafical-counting method and then according to technical standard ČSN ISO 5048.
