Abstract

The theme of the bachelor thesis is surface finishing by lapping process in the Company John Crane a.s. In the theoretical part describes the selected finishing operations, which include the process of lapping, is then processed the theory about the process of lapping. The practical part deals with the process of lapping the component, describing the material properties, lapping parts, describing the lapping emulsions, in accordance with the lapping. It is also described flatness of monochromatic light control, checking the flatness by using roundness instrument. In the course of the specified component using the company John Crane Sigma a.s. has been asked a lot of questions, the result is an exchange lapping plate to plate without grooves and shortening of the hose inlet of the injection unit.
