Abstract

This thesis is dealing with R22 helicopters utilization. The introduction part of bachelor thesis is devoted to the history of the American Robinson Helicopter Company and its founder, Frank Robinson. Other parts include a description of helicopter R22 Beta II, its maintenance, operating conditions and emergency procedures. There are also different types of R22 and their practical application in various activities. The isolated chapter consists of pilot training to receive a private pilot's license R22 helicopter and the list of airline companies that offer this pilot training. In the conclusion of bachelor thesis there is a comparison of helicopters R22 Beta II, R44 Raven Series and R66 Turbine manufactured by Robinson Helicopter Company.
