Abstract

The scope of this thesis is an to approach thermal fission by oxygen, plasma and laser. Four samples of different thicknesses are made from S355J2+N and S235JR+N steel. The specimen were produced at Shape Steel a.s. Characteristics and descriptions are shown for the burning stands used. At the same time, protocols on the qualification of the cutting process for the specified steel grades are drawn up for the individual cutting machines. In the experimental part the individual samples are compared using macrostructure, microstructure and measured hardness around the cutting edge.
