Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the area of cutting, forming and bending of sheet me-tal. It focuses on the design of the production technology of a bearing shield part by cold forming technology with help of a forming tool. The aim of the thesis was to design the tech-nology for mass production and to achieve the minimum production cost of the bearing shield part per piece. The work tried to associate all the forming operations and implement them in a single associated progresive tool. Besides the production technology of the bearing shield, the bachelor’s thesis also deals with the method of production of the individual active parts of the tool. During the calculations, in the bachelor thesis, it was found that it is possible to construct an associated progressive tool.
