Abstract
This master's thesis deals with the design of a test stand intended for cyclic fatigue testing of door hinges. The thesis was developed in cooperation with TIMOTEC Reinraumtechnik a.s. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the issue of material fatigue, fatigue crack propagation, and component testing methodologies. The practical part focuses on the technical solution itself, which includes a 3D design of an aluminum profile frame, and a kinematic and force analysis of the IZV chamber door panel. Based on the performed calculations, a pneumatic cylinder compliant with the ISO 15552 standard was selected as the actuator, and an electropneumatic logic utilizing a PLC was designed. The thesis also includes the establishment of a testing methodology and a financial analysis.
