Význam genderové problematiky zaměstnanců veřejné správy Moravskoslezského kraje

Abstract

The topic of this thesis is equal treatment, discrimination and gender. Aim of the thesis is to find out if public administration in Moravian-Silesian region is equal by gender or if there are men or women in advantage. The theoretical part deals with historical development, definitions of important terms such as gender, discriminations, segregation etc. as well as about development of antidiscrimination law in Czech Republic and introduction of the used research methodology which is survey. The practical part shows data obtained from survey which are compiled into graphs and interpreted. The following section is focused on areas in which inequality was found and this section of thesis describes recommendations for these areas.
