Abstract
This thesis deals with the topic of multi-criteria decision in a Human Recources Management. Specifically, this is about the problem of choosing a suitable candidate for the position of the Sales manager in the company focused on the production of school and medical furniture and the other accessories. The aim of thesis is to evaluate a couple of potentially suitable candidates using the method of AHP – Analytic Hierarchy process, with respect to any predefined criteria coming from requirements for this job. The focus of the calculation is Saaty´s procedure application with a certain degree of subjectivity. Simultaneously, tha part of thesis is comparation with the other multi-criteria methods. The same decision problem is also solved by TOPSIS method, which is based on the finding option, which is that is furthest away from basal (hypothetically worst) option. The results of both methods are compared at the end with the third easier method of weighted ranking. The results of thesis in the form of number of recommended candidates the company will use in another phase of staff selection.
