Zhodnocení vlivu mezigenerační komunikace na rozvoj ve vybrané společnosti

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines how intergenerational communication influences the development of the company Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s. The theoretical section defines the concepts of human resource management, diversity and inclusion, organizational culture, and communication, including its barriers, benefits, and conflicts between generations. The practical part characterizes the selected company and assesses the current level of intergenerational communication through a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview. Based on the findings, several recommendations are proposed, such as strategies for age diversity, reverse mentoring, more frequent team projects, and improvement of communication skills. These recommendations have the potential to encourage knowledge sharing, reduce conflicts, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the company.
