Abstract
This thesis deals with the properties of welded joints produced by welding method 43 (FSW). The first part describes the welding method 43 and properties of joints while welding different metals and alloys. The second experimental part deals with assignment and evaluation of welded samples and the benefits of FSW welding are compared to the conventional welding methods.
