Návrh marketingové strategie Planetária Ostrava se zaměřením na oblast geoturismu

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na Ostravské Planetárium. Věnuje se návrhu marketingové strategie pro Planetárium Ostrava se zaměřením na geoturismus, který svým způsobem souvisí s působením Planetária. Cílem práce je vytvořit marketingovou strategii, která by pomohla ke zvýšení návštěvnosti Planetária, možné rozšíření edukačního programu, oslovit nové cílové skupiny a rozšíření jejich znalostí. V teoretické části se čtenář dočte o historii Planetárií ve světě, historii Planetária Ostrava a historii z dalších významných Planetárií v české republice a zároveň i současnost Ostravského Planetária. Z geologického pohledu je popsáno blízké okolí Planetária, rozsah zalednění v části Moravskoslezkého kraje a nakonec Kvartér. Z praktické části bylo z pohledu geologie vypracováno mineralogické složení z několika odebraných vzorků z okolí Planetária. Dále je zde návrh marketingové strategie, vytvoření edukačního programu na téma propojené geologie s vesmírem. Výsledek práce může přispět k lepší návštěvnosti Planetária Ostrava.

This diploma thesis focuses on the Ostrava Planetarium. It addresses the design of a marketing strategy for the Ostrava Planetarium with an emphasis on geotourism, which is closely related to the Planetarium’s activities. The aim of this thesis is to develop a marketing strategy that would help increase visitor numbers at the Planetarium, potentially expand its educational program, reach new target groups, and broaden their knowledge. In the theoretical section, the reader learns about the history of planetariums worldwide, the history of the Ostrava Planetarium, and the history of other significant planetariums in the Czech Republic, as well as the current state of the Ostrava Planetarium. From a geological perspective, the immediate surroundings of the Planetarium are described, along with the extent of glaciation in parts of the Moravian-Silesian Region and, finally, the Quaternary period. In the practical section, the mineralogical composition of a few samples collected from the vicinity of the Planetarium was analyzed from a geological perspective. Furthermore, the thesis includes a proposal for a marketing strategy and the creation of an educational program on the topic of the interconnection between geology and space. The results of this work may contribute to increased attendance at the Ostrava Planetarium.
