Základní hodnocení problematiky návrhu a efektivity provozu různých typů okružních křižovatek

Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the comparison of the efficiency of different types of circular intersections used in the Czech Republic. The first step of comparison is the search for available standards and thein simplified comparison with foreign design standards. The second step is to compare selected samples of circular junctions of different types from the following aspects - traffic intensity, basic geometric features, accident rate and their area and financial demands. For the purpose of comparison, elaborated free schematic suggestions of circular intersections - onestrip, tworopes and a turbo-circular junction, comparing their area and financial demands. In conclusion, I analyzed the dependence of traffic load and accident and the accidents dependence on the geometric design of individual intersections.
