Abstract
The basic objective of this bachelor project is to find out how happy employees are and their existing motivation in the chain store Kaufland. The sectional objective is to find out which motivational instruments the company uses and which forms of motivation the employees prefer. Useing a questionnaire internal materials and supplemental methods such as observation and guided interview get data about the motivation of employees. Based on the questionnaire it was discovered that money is the best motivating instrument for Kaufland's employees. Based on getting information: The employees work every public holiday and the company is closed only 2 days per year. It has been suggested that the chain store should be closed on Christmas Day. Kaufland's employees would like to have meal tickets which the company does not provide and they want more days off because they have only 20 days as prescribed by laws. For all of these reasons it is recommended that the company should give meal tickets and more holidays to their employees. The main task of all companies is make their employees more happy and develop their potential and creative thinking. It is important to think that every employee is unique and every employee has different wishes and needs. If a company has this principle it looks like a company which takes care of their employees. Society looks credibly and employers can employ the best workers. If an employee is happy and he appreciates his job. The employee can do his/her best and thay can to parttake in events in the organisation. Based on respondent's answers it was discovered that the company does not offer many occupational advantages and a lot of employees are not happy with their wages. That is the reason why it was suggested to the company to give meal tickets and vouchers 500 Kč for purchases in Kaufland to their employees. Every worker would have increased wages but for this reason there would be fewer employees in the company. These suggestions and recommendations can change the view of employers on occupational motivation and they can improve the actual motivation system of employees in an organisation.
