Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with the creating of product base. Final products are hot-stove valves along the blast furnace. The introduction describes the current state of the new products designing. Include the proposal of products numbering, creating a database and search procedure of the existing parts. Also addresses the standardization of the creation of new parts, defining the parameters of product ranges and reduce their variability. In conclusion, the proposed standard procedures are used to create a new product.
