Abstract
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the mechanical properties of the material
LUVOSINT PA12 9270 BK, processed using the additive manufacturing technology of Selective
Laser Sintering (SLS). The main objective of this thesis is to characterize and test the mechanical
properties of this polyamide material and compare it with a similar material available on the
market. For this purpose, both the input materials and the samples printed in various
orientations from both materials were tested. The results of these tests were then used to
compare and evaluate the two materials. This bachelor's thesis provides insight into the process
of 3D printing using Selective Laser Sintering as well as the subsequent mechanical testing.
