The aim of my diploma thesis was the construction design of a two-axle tandem tipping trailer with a ladder frame. In the technical report I have presented the information on different types of trailers, their properties and legislative requirements for their weights and dimensions. In the construction part of my thesis I have chosen suitable components for the trailer chassis and body. I also have calculated the forces acting on the trailer during operation states. Finally, I have done the analysis of stress acting at key points of the trailer frame with the use of the commercial software for a finite element analysis.
