Abstract
Bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of interactive tasks utilizing Arduino
and ESP32 microcontrollers. The introduction outlines the theoretical framework, analyses
the application of various sensors, and describes their operating principles. Through systematic
experimentation, the sensors and microcontrollers were characterized and applied in two
models: a weather station and a mobile robotic platform. For the weather station, the objective
was to create an intuitive graphical user interface capable of displaying data from the indoor
unit while simultaneously receiving and displaying data from the outdoor unit via radio
communication. For the mobile robotic platform, code was developed for the remote control
of the platform's movement and the streaming of a live camera feed. A significant portion
of the thesis focuses on the creation of educational tasks for students. These tasks are designed
so that students can complete the initial ones without any prior experience in programming
and sensor technology. The overall benefit of these tasks lies in bridging theoretical knowledge
of sensors with practical skills gained during the functional verification of individual sensors
and models.
