Abstract

Proposition for conversion of central heating system steam distrubution it Prerov into hot water distribution network is principal subject of this Master Thesis. Estimation of the overall network heat demands, presentation of hydraulic concept and overall impact of large scale reconstruction project on everyday life of people living on this locality is described. Coherent technological entities which has to be included into the project like building of a new heat exchanger stations at boiler station and reconstruction of existion exchanger stations by end users sites, plus instrumentation and control is explicated in this work. It is well-known fact that hot water distribution networks are more efficient than steam distribution networks. Benefits of hot water distribution networks, energy flow alterations and its influence on overall funktioning of central heat distribution system, elektricity generation and environment are assessed with special focus on decrease of air pollution.
