Abstract

This diploma´s thesis focuses on the design of the layout for a specific service center, with the primary objective of optimizing internal logistical flows and increasing overall operational efficiency. The theoretical part summarizes modern methods for designing production and service systems, as well as the principles of ergonomics and occupational safety. The practical part includes a detailed analysis of the current state of the workplace, identification of bottlenecks, and an evaluation of material and personnel flows. Based on these findings, an alternative design for a new spatial layout is proposed. The main contribution of this work is a specific technical solution aimed at minimizing handling times and improving the utilization of spatial capacity.
