Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the technological design for joining of thin sheets. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. In thetheoretical part, a basic study of materials used for air handling (systems) is made. On the basis of comparison of individual materials, the design of technologies suitable for joining thin sheets is suggested. The practical (experimental) part consists of technological drawings, according to which test pieces were made, which were assembled using the selected joining methods. The selected methods are spot welding, riveting and clinching. A leak test was carried out and evaluated on the test pieces.
