Abstract

This thesis describes the multiple dominant pole method, which deals with the tuning of conventional digital and analog controllers for proportional non-oscillatory and integrating plants with and without time delay. There was also made an aid for calculating the adjustable parameters of controllers by multiple dominant pole method in this work. Furthermore, this thesis deals with a comparison to other methods. For the plants with time delay has been chosen the desired model method, the experimental method and the method SIMC. For the plants without time delay it is the desired model method, method of setting of controllers according to Chiena, Hronese and Reswicka and method of step characteristic. The last point of this thesis was verification the robustness of standard analog linear PI and PID controllers truncated by multiple dominant pole method for plants with and without time delay. All simulations are performed in the simulation program MatLab/Simulink.
