Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with Economical Milling – Roughing of Planar Surface with tools with angle setting κ_r = 45° for material from groups ISO P and M. The first part of the thesis describes cutting tool from sintered carbid, machined materials, surface roughnes after milling and summary of construction and geometry of tools for planar surfaces milling. Then, an analysis of the current range of tools and replaceable inserts of Dormer Pramet to competing companies. The main part of thesis is targeted to experimental functional check and the goal of it is comparing new designed replaceable inserts Dormer Pramet with competition in terms of roughness after the milling Ra and Rz and machine load due to machining trials. Conclusion of thesis is focused on technical-economical evaluation of results machining trials.
