Abstract

The theme of this thesis is to determine the machinability of nonspecific material. The first part is devoted to the distribution and detection methods of machinability. The theoretical part focuses on long-term tests respectively machinability. cuttability according to ISO 3685: 1993. The next chapter describes all equipment used in the tests machinability, ie. machine tools, jigs and measuring equipment and the course of the test itself. The aim of the practical part is finding machinability of the standard material for steel machinability and subsequent determination of unknown material durability tests turning tool with one a longitudinal cutting edge when turning.
