Abstract
The goal of this thesis is with comparison of analytic calculations of steady-state cornering of firefighter truck with measured data. In the theoretical section of the thesis issues of vehicle movement under selected conditions and possibilities of solving those issues are discussed. In the practical section of the thesis centre of gravity of the vehicle is calculated from measured loads, which is used in analytical model for calculating critical speeds of overturning and lateral skidding. Results from analytical model are compared with measured data. At the end the of thesis selected parameters affecting vehicle movement are evaluated and possibilities of reducing effect of some factors influencing these parameters are suggested. Furthermore requirements and recommendations for correct measuring of vehicle dynamics are suggested.
