Zaměstnávání pracovníků z ČR a SR v jiných členských státech EU

Abstract

This diploma thesis focused on the field of employment of citizens from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the other European Union's member states. The aim of this thesis is treating of employment aspects of EU citizens in terms of economy and law and evaluates the practical impact on workers from the Czech and Slovak Republic. The first part is the theoretical basis of the free movement of persons and workers. The following part deals with the specific process of employment practices and recognition of qualifications in the EU. The practical part describes the importance of the EURES network in seeking and obtaining employment in the EU. Then it analyses the situation on the labour market of EU, Czech Republic and Slovakia and maps the most significant barriers to mobility for workers. The conclusion includes suggestions and recommendations for overcoming barriers of mobility, issue evaluation and the impact on workers from the Czech and Slovak Republic.
