Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a device for winding waste threads generated during the production of ropes and jewellery. The aim was to design a simple, inexpensive and reliable device with emphasis on ease of operation and maintenance. The work includes the structural design of the winding mechanism, the sizing of the drive system, the design of the layout of the parts in the electrical cabinet and the final evaluation of the functional device.
