Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis is focused on the design and structural elaboration of hand screw turnbuckle, which is screwed up by a ratchet wrench. It is necessary to use screws with the right-handed and left-handed metric thread to cause the stretching power. The stretching power, which is going to have an effect on threads, will be F=50 kN. The maximal contraction of the turnbuckle is H=300 mm. The planned power on the lever of the ratchet wrench is F=300 N. The design solution of the ratchet wrench has to be resolved so that the ratchet wrench allows the movement in both directions.
