Numerické modelování proudění plynu ve ventilu EGR výměníku tepla za účelem řízení průtokových parametrů proudícího média

Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with the determination of the flow parameters of the EGR valve using CFD modeling with ANSYS Fluent dynamic mesh tools. The introduction explains the basic information about the EGR valve and the associated flue gas recirculation of motor vehicles. Furthermore, the basics of CFD modeling in ANSYS Fluent and detailed characteristics of the dynamic mesh are described. Within this issue, there is a description of the dynamic mesh and its practical use. The next chapters deal with the practical part associated with the examination of operating conditions on the specified geometry of the EGR valve in the ANSYS Fluent. Two approaches are used for practical investigation. In the first case, the problem is solved as stationary and in the second case, the problem is solved as time-dependent using a dynamic mesh tool. The results are evaluated graphically in ANSYS Fluent and Excel using graphs. At the end of this work, the results are compared and evaluated.
