Abstract

This thesis deals with the structural design of the scraper conveyor drive for high performance. The first part is devoted to the analysis of possible options for the scraper conveyor drive using an engine with a power output of 800 kW. In the following part of the thesis, technological calculations are performed for the conveyor transport with a capacity of 2,500 t•hod-1, on the basis of which individual drive components and the overall approach are selected. Furthermore, the components are inspected to ensure their proper function. The coupling parts of the drive, which transmit torque from the engine to the sprocket, as well as the support housing of the drive, are subjected to stress analysis. The solution of the scraper conveyor drive is documented in the drawings section of the thesis.
