Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of straightening by three-point bending, from the point of view of the design of a suitable size of straightening deflection. The introduction describes current methods of straightening long metal parts and their problems. The procedure of the solution itself consisted in finding the dependence between the size of the side of the square cross-section and the distance between the supports for the material 100Cr6. For finding this dependence was used numerical research, which was later verified experimentally. The result of this research was to find the material parameters needed to determine the amount of deflection, so that the best possible straightening of the part. These deflection designs was experimentally verified at the end of this work.
