Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of mobile hydraulic scissors able to cut arched mining reinforcement right in the mining conditions. The aim of such a device is to shorten the time period currently needed when using the so far available technology. The introduction of the thesis presents a background research concerning mainly reinforcements and girders, pressure sources and by competition provided hydraulic scissors available on the Czech market. Based on the acquired information and the carried out experiment, a required shear force and shearing technique are designed. These are then calibrated with the means of a stress analysis in FEM. The conclusion describes the process of assembling and operating such a device and there also is an economical summary with a proposal of possible construction adjustments included. The annexes of the thesis include the entire documentation.
