Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to provide information on basic steps connected with formation and operation of the flat owners association.
Conditions of the establishing an association, its bodies, activities, rights and liabilities of its members are described in the first part.
The second part includes issues connected with liabilities of the association as an accounting unit, accounting, tax duties.
The third part deals with area of technical administration, and possibilities for financing extensive reconstruction and modernization.
