Abstract
This thesis deals with numerical modelling of flow in a hydrodynamic pump of the company Armfield MF50 and comparing the results of numerical modelling in a pump with the results measured in demonstration equipment. In the introduction of the work there are provided mapping and description of demonstration equipment of the company Armfield with a subsequent production 3D of computational model of the pump in graphics programs. Further, there are described two different problems of mathematical modelling of flow in the pump Armfield FM50 with high-speed and low-speed impellers. In every chapter there are compared the results of numerical modelling of flow with the results measured in demonstration equipment of the company Armfield. In the conclusion of this work there are demonstrated other alternative solutions that were accomplished with the aim of elaborating the results of numerical modelling and evaluating the influence of geometry, network and used model of turbulence.
