Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá literárním prostorem v Litomyšli. Město je historicky bohaté na spisovatele a má mnoho cenných míst a budov spojených s literou a písmem. Práce se snaží zodpovědět otázky budoucnosti města skrze zmapování historických a současných prostor písma. Zabývá se především vhodným umístěním budov jako je archív, knihovna a Městský úřad v rámci města.

Samotná praktická část se zabývá návrhem knihovny v návaznosti na reprezentativní historickou budovu tiskárny Augusta, která se nachází v historickém centru. Knihovna je navržena jako společensky kulturní a informační centrum Litomyšle. Jako místo pro studium, trávení volného času, i odpočinku, v těsném sousedství historických klášterních zahrad.

The thesis discusses literary space in Litomyšl town. A lot of famous writes used to live in Litomyšl and there are many valuable places and buildings connected with literature and font. The thesis is trying to answer questions about town's future with mapping historical and contemporary font's space. It is mainly dealing with convenient buildings placement in the town area like archive building, library and town hall.

Practical part of the thesis is focusing on library design with continuity to impressive historical Augusta's printing office building which is located in the historical center. The library is designed as a socially cultural and informational center of Litomyšl. As well as the library was designed as a place for studying, free time spending, relaxation very close to the historical monastery gardens.
