Abstract

This master thesis is focused on a project of a cart hydraulic system used for transport and handling of coils. In the beginning of the thesis, methods of iron and steel production and their historical development are described, as well as contemporary options of transport and handling of coils in contemporary factories. Practical part of this thesis is focused on project of hydraulic system of the cart with lifting platform. In the thesis, the needed force for lifting up the deck and needed torque of hydraulic motor to move cart, was inspected and ascertained. Outcome of the thesis is scheme of hydraulic outlet, project of actuators of the system, and preparation of project documentation k linerar hydraulic motor.
