Abstract

This thesis deals with structural design and calculation of a rotary table. First, there are presented applications in rotary table industry. Next is selection of type of electro-mechanical drive. After that is perform concrete structural design and verification of important parts of rotary table such as worm gear, worm shaft, shaft coupling, force coupling, screws and table board. It also made the choice of lubricant and calculation of bearing life. Designed rotary table is documented in the annex in the form of assembly, working drawing of table board and worm wheel.
