Ražený tunel Pol'ana

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of digging underground line works. The main object of interest is the tunnel Poľana placed on the highway D3 in Slovakia. The aim is to evaluate the deformational conditions surrounding the excavation caused by the tunneling and the evaluation of the internal forces coming from the reinforcing elements of the tunnel. Another part is the appraisal of the deformation and internal forces during the excavation of a different way division of the excavation face. The calculations of deformational conditions and the internal forces in the structure are made by using mathematical models with the software PLAXIS. The input parameters that are necessary to build a mathematical model of the tunnel, are drawn from the engineering-geological explorations from the area of interest and drawings. The extended tunnel section in the area of the emergency bay is the object of calculation.
