Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and construction of a handle intended for the interior of railway vehicles designated for regional passenger transport. The interior handle was designed according to the specifications of Siemens Mobility, s.r.o., for installation in the boarding area of railway vehicles. One of the requirements was to incorporate lighting into the handle, which will increase the safety and comfort of passengers. During the design, it was necessary to follow all standards related to railway vehicles. In the thesis, the norms limiting assignment are given. Based on the identified requirements, different variants of solution were proposed, from which two most suitable ones were subsequently chosen and processed in detail. The selected variants were checked using strength analyses and the results for stainless steel and aluminium material were compared.
