Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design of a knowledge system for the quality management process. The introductory section describes the current state of the quality management process in the field of vibroacoustics within the automotive industry at the research facility. Based on available technologies, alternative solutions for creating a knowledge system based on the client’s requirements are described. The solution approved by the client is developed into a modular application for creating a fuzzy inference system with its own user interface and a close link to inputs from the production process. Within the environment of the created application, specific hierarchical fuzzy inference systems are developed, and their results are verified and compared with existing quality control results.
