Abstract

Thesis goes in for hot blast, production of raw iron in the blast furnace. The introduction of the thesis is devoted to the analysis showing present estate of customizing and transporting hot blast to the blast furnace and complete information about it. All the information describes heating blast in the hot-blast stove, progress of blast to the blast furnace and blast furnace including its operation. Thesis comprises sincere engineering project of shaft locking of blast furnace consisting of the most loaded parts calculation and its design solving. Furthermore there are defined particular component units that are used in the mechanism and functions of them. As an attachment to this project there is drawing documentation of the mechanism stated.
