Ekologizace veřejné hromadné dopravy v Ostravě

Abstract

This Master thesis deals with the possibility of application of alternative fuels in public transport buses, with a view to the gradual reduction of emissions in the renewal of the fleet. The first part of this work deals with education in alternative fuels and evaluates their advantages and disadvantages, and an analysis of manufacturers of buses on a particular fuel. In other parts is carried out the analysis of traffic situation in the city of Ostrava. Here is an evaluation of air pollution from transport, calculation of emissions savings by the implementation of alternative fuels in public transport buses and evaluate the optimal fuel for the DPO, a. s. from several perspectives. In the last part of the work is carried out economic assessment of fuel calculated in the preceding paragraphs.
