Abstract

This Bachelor Thesis is concerned with defining and measuring the resistance of a porous medium, which was realized on an air line. At the beginning, the terms porous medium and porosity are explained. The next terms are porosity and methods of their measuring and setting porosity, including instrumental equipment. Based on the information about the porous medium, an experimental measurement line was designed, which was used for real measuring. On the air line were measured pressure difference of porous medium and flow quantity. Porous medium represents cylinder filled with balls of various diameters. All the achieved figures are evaluated according to the tables and the graphical dependencies. At the end, all the results of measuring the porous medium resistance are compared.
