Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the strength analysis of atypical flange joints at enamelled pressure vessels used mainly in chemical industry. This analysis was carried out in the programme Ansys Workbench and its results were compared to experimentally measured values. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theory of elasticity and plasticity, which is the basis for the strength calculation of the clamp. Further, the theory of finite element method is discussed here.
