Abstract

HLAVICA, Filip. Use of Renewable Sources in the Recreational Cottage. Ostrava, 2022. Bachelor thesis. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Thesis supervisior doc. Ing Mojmír Vrtek, PhD. This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of renewable energy sources in the recreational cottage and the design of solar system for the preparation of hot water. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the basic types of solar collectors and the principle of their operation. It also deals with biomass and the other renewable sources on a smaller scale. The practical part contains a design of suitable solar system for the preparation of hot water for a recreational cottage, which is inhabited by 3 people. At the end of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of renewable energy sources in consideration of the location of the cottage and the evaluation of these sources by environmental and economical side.
