Abstract
The thesis is dealing with the design of progressive die for sheet metal parts, its testing and technical and economic evaluation. The first section describes the technology of forming tools and various operations such as cutting, drawing and bending. It further describes the various components and elements of which consist the progressive dies. The second part focuses on the construction and describe each step of the pressing. The progressive die was designed from the start as a 12-step tool and had to meet specific customer requirements. Based on the results of the measurement are described the necessary adjustments of the tool. The work also includes economic evaluation. In conclusion, I suggest the possibility of investing to a new CAD/CAM system, which I mention and recommend in the thesis.
