Abstract

The master’s thesis deals with designing window frames welding jig for the rolling stock company IFE-CR, Inc. based on the model and drawing of a window frame. The introduction includes the production process of a window frame with a tool design for profile bending. Then the thesis deals with different processes suitable for welding aluminium alloys. The next section describes the creation of welding fixture. The setting and clamping of the window frame into the jig is explained. In the last part a control preparation for window frames of the specified type is designed.
