Abstract

This bachelor work deals with an engineering design of an experimental air-operated rotary engine mechanism. The first part of the work features a survey of existing rotary engines, their characteristics and parameters. Of this assortment, rotary engine have been chosen corresponding with the given parameters. The following parts of the work deal with measuring devices, methods and tools used for measuring the basic parameters. Also presented are options for braking mechanisms and the choice of target under the given requirements. This diploma work results then in an engineering design and description of an experimental mechanism which consists of selected parts corresponding with the parameters as requested
