Biomechanika - Implantáty pro růstovou chirurgii

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is biomechanical assessment of implants for growth surgery. The diploma thesis can be divided into two main parts, namely: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is focused on research of growth surgery which contains anatomical basis, growth deformations, fixators and implants used in growth surgery and their use. The practical part deals with FEM calculation, from model preparation, application of boundary conditions to stress-strain analysis of specified implants. At the end of the thesis other possible procedures related to the problem are outlined along with the final evaluation of implants.
