Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to design transport facilities and to determine the power of its driving station. The introduction of the thesis deals with the description of transported materials and their mechanical – physical properties. It also deals with the characteristics of conveyors and the selection of the appropriate transport technology. Practical part is devoted to the calculations of tensile forces on the conveyor and the needed performance determination of the driving station.
